Dr. Scott Coleman founded what would become Coleman Dental Associates in 1984. Since then, Dr. Coleman has strived to provide his patients the highest level of care possible. Dr. Coleman is an accredited member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. There are only about 225 dentists in the world who have earned this distinction. In addition, Dr. Coleman has been an adviser to several dental manufacturing companies.

Our Mission

It is our mission of this practice to provide the highest level of service and concern possible for those who choose to accept our care. We want every individual realize a higher level of self-esteem and and well being by enhancing the appearance, comfort and function of their dental health. In providing this level of care, we will follow Christian principles and strive to treat those patients as we would ourselves.

Our practice represents the 2 to 3 percent of dentists in the United States who have made a commitment to practice in a free environment, meaning the decision of which dentist you choose lies with you, not your insurance carrier. You are free to choose us or not, and we are free to choose the best treatment plan that is consistent with your desires, needs, and values.

Dr. Coleman has been recognized for his exquisite dentistry by being seen on Good Morning Houston and Channel 2 KPRC with Roseann Rogers and The Buzz. In addition, he has gained national exposure when they were seen on CNN with Jeanie Mose. They have also been featured in several publications, including the Houston Chronicle, Houston Health and Fitness, Inside Houston Magazine, Money Magazine and numerous dental and local publications.

Dr. Coleman was the official dentist for the Miss Texas USA pageant for 15 years. Many Miss USA winners and one Miss Universe winner have entrusted us give them glamorous, captivating smiles. In addition, many Houston media personalities, whose smiles are a major asset to their careers, have chosen Dr. Coleman as their personal dentist.

Dr. Coleman has also shown their artistic and creative sides by working with several theatrical companies as a consultant. He has also been a consultant for the Tony-Award winning Alley Theatre in Houston, Texas since 1990, designing and making props to help actors get into character. Some of his work has gone on tour and is currently on Broadway in New York (“Jekyll and Hyde”). By creating a broad range of looks, Dr. Coleman is able to explore the boundaries of all kinds of smiles, making it easier to create beautiful looks for all of their cosmetic dentistry patients.

Dr. Coleman has been doing “Extreme Makeovers” for more than 20 years. He works closely with numerous plastic surgeons, dermatologists, aestheticians, make-up artists, and hair stylists to give their patients the brilliant smiles (and self-confidence) they have always wanted.
